Logos
and how they evolve

This following would be a very typical way we would design you logo and find one that meets your requirements. We will make the logo in two formats, a jpeg image and a png. A jpeg image is very typical and has a background colour. The png will have a transparent background so we can add any colour of our choice to it.

There are generally only 2 type of format used for your site logo. Jpeg's and png's. We would really decide on which format to use depending and what the logo contain. If a logo was to full picture background we would us a jpg as a png would to too large and take quite some time to load. If the logo was to consist of some text and some icons we would use a png as size for size it would be very similar to that of a jpeg and the load time would be very similar. We always save the original PSD (Photo Shop Document) in a folder on your site so that both formats can easily be retrieved and easily modified.

JPEG's

The first is a jpeg. While jpgs generally use less less space and storage and are much quicker to load but their quality and re-use ability are very limited. Jpeg's loose quality when compressed so best to save and use the exact size we are going to use.

PNG's

Png's are generally far better quality appearance wise and can easily compressed without loosing any quality. They are very easily re-worked and a background colour can easily be added to them. They are perfect for logo's
